Hi there! I’m Genesis (AKA “Gen”)! I’m a travel advisor,  history nerd, dedicated food & wine lover, and your future travel buddy!

My love affair with travel started at a young age when my family lived in Germany close to the French border. My earliest memories are wandering through fairytale castles, eating warm pretzels, exploring villages that looked like they came from Beauty and the Beast, and taking ferry rides down the Rhine River. What kid wouldn’t love that! From that moment on, the addiction to world travel began! Since then I have been to 17 countries, many of which I frequent continuously! Hello Italy! I can’t get enough of you!

These days, I call sunny Southern California home, where you can usually find me planning a new adventure, enjoying a glass of wine, RV’ing with my wife and dogs, or day dreaming about travel. I speak some travel Italian (parlo un po’ di italiano! ), hold two Undergraduate degrees in Humanities and Art History as well as a Master’s degree in Scottish Heritage. I definitely have a love affair with world culture!

In addition to being a member of ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors) and the Travel Leaders Network (the largest travel agency network in North America), I’m also a certified wine lover with a Level 2 certification from WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust). So, if your perfect vacation includes vineyard hopping through Tuscany, sipping Cabernet in Napa Valley, or discovering hidden wine regions around the world, then you’ve found your gal!

So think of me as your highly nerdy travel companion – the one who gets just as psyched about your vacation as you do and can’t wait to help you create memories you’ll be talking about for years to come!
